Wincle Gloucestershire Old Spots
Pedigree Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs can usually be seen "free range" in Wincle. Piglets are often available, birth notified, they can be pets, used for breeding or turned into pork at about 6 months old. Also for sale from time to time is some of the nicest pork you will ever have tasted being "rare breed" and "free range".

Armchair Opticians
Owned and run by Optometrist and Wincle resident Sarah Clarke (Wood). A small friendly independent Opticians' practice on Park Lane in Macclesfield. Formerly Barker-Bramley Opticians, the practice is approaching its 40th anniversary. Its specialism is Home Eye Examinations visiting the elderly and disabled. In 2010 Sarah won two Innovation in Healthcare Awards from NHS Northwest. The practice caters for all ages an can supply everything from contact lenses through to the latest Freeform HD surfaced spectacle lenses. As a former Optician to the GB cycling team Sarah also supplies prescription cycling and sports glasses.
